Built for the breakdown

It's not the breakdown that's the problem — it's the process of getting the truck moving again.

When a truck goes down, Tow4Tech connects trucking fleets and stranded owner operators with the towing vendors who can actually roll. Real ETAs, real quotes, real-time tracking — and a $25-per-event price that's easy to explain to anyone.

Quick glossary: An Owner Operator is the truck driver who needs help. An Operator is the tow-truck driver or roadside tech who comes to help — Operators work for a Dispatch company and use the built-in operator web app, not a separate signup.

AI voice agents — coverage beyond the network

When the Tow4Tech network alone can't cover a job, AI voice agents fan out calls to towing & roadside vendors who aren't on the platform yet — capturing real ETAs and cost estimates and feeding them straight into the same flow. Off-network vendors handle the job; Service App users see no difference.

🔒 AI calls and SMS are consent-first: explicit verbal consent is captured before any text messages, calls are disclosed as automated, and opt-out is honored immediately. See our SMS & AI voice consent policy →

In-network

Vendors already on Tow4Tech

Notified instantly through the Dispatch app — opportunity board, push, and direct outreach. They quote, assign, and roll exactly as they do today.

Off-network · AI voice agents

Vendors not yet on Tow4Tech

AI voice agents place calls to nearby off-network providers, read the job out, and capture a spoken ETA and price. Their reply is written back to the request automatically — no human relay, no re-keying.

📡

Fan out to vendors off the network

AI voice agents widen the field beyond Tow4Tech's existing vendors — placing parallel calls to nearby providers who've never signed up. No coverage gap ever stops a job from moving.

🗣️

Real ETAs & cost estimates, by voice

The AI call reads out the job and asks the vendor for an ETA and a price. That spoken quote is captured and written back into the request — landing in the same quote list as in-network vendors, apples to apples.

🤝

Off-network vendors still handle the job

A provider reached by AI voice agents doesn't need a Tow4Tech account to take and complete the work. They're brought in for the job, paid, and tracked through it — then invited to join the network when it makes sense.

🛰️

One experience for the Service App user

Whether the winning vendor was already on Tow4Tech or reached through AI voice agents, the Service App user sees the identical flow — quotes side by side, live tracking, photos, and a single settled invoice. The network does the heavy lifting invisibly.

Straight answers

Questions fleet ops teams ask us first

Is there a contract or a subscription?

No. There's no contract, no seat licensing and no monthly minimum. Fleets and owner operators pay $25 per successful request — if no vendor takes the job, there's nothing to pay. Dispatch is free for towing & roadside providers.

What happens if no vendor responds?

The request keeps widening. It starts with your preferred vendors, opens to the broader network, and then AI voice agents call nearby off-network providers directly to capture an ETA and price. If nothing lands, you're not charged — and a dispatcher can escalate the request manually at any point.

How fast do vendors respond?

Response time depends on location, time of day and service type. Every request is timestamped end to end, so you see actual acceptance times, ETAs and on-scene times per vendor in your analytics — and vendor scoring puts the consistently fast ones first on your next job.

Are vendors vetted and insured?

Providers submit business and insurance details during onboarding, and every completed job feeds a performance score visible to the fleets who use them. You can also lock a request to your own preferred, pre-approved vendor list only.

How does payment work?

Your call, every job. Settle in-platform through Stripe, or pay the vendor direct on your existing terms — Tow4Tech records the invoice, receipts and photos either way.

Can it connect to our TMS or CRM?

Yes. Requests can be pushed in over our REST API or CRM webhooks, and status changes flow back in real time. Enterprise SSO/SAML is available on request.
